ATTENZIONE: a non tutti sembra funzionare il live streaming dal sito BBC. Funziona però iPlayer, dunque basterà aspettare qualche minuto dal programma per vederlo (quasi) in diretta! A voi, fans di TopGear!

NUOVO METODO: Come vedere la BBC (Top Gear) e ITV (Tourist Trophy) in diretta dall’Italia con “hola!”

Finalmente arriva il nuovo (ennesimo) metodo per vedere la nostra amata BBC dall’Italia, nonché la CBS, Hulu, e tutti i programmi che qui non possiamo fare altro che sognarci, a meno che di non comprare una parabola enorme (per la BBC), cosa che vale solo per chi abita nel Nord Italia, ossia al limite per riceverla.

Questo nuovo metodo è, come sempre, 100% gratuito. E’ molto usato all’estero ma poco conosciuto in Italia. E’ ovviamente legale perché non si fa altro che cambiare i DNS, che potremmo interpretare come “vogliamo avere più privacy” o “più velocità”. E invece la nostra missione è quella di guardarci TopGear o i film di Hulu in qualità HD (se la vostra connessione lo consente) o comunque al tempo con gli americani o inglesi che siano.

Si chiama TUNLR, ed è un servizio che offre gratuitamente i suoi DNS. Funziona con Mac, Windows 7, Linux, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android e PlayStation 3. Se qualcuno di voi ha la possibilità di testarlo su Windows 8 ce lo faccia sapere nei commenti, sarà molto apprezzato dagli altri lettori! Sul sito ufficiale potete trovare tutte le info, ma vi dico già che basta sostituire i loro DNS ai nostri, non serve infatti nessun programma.

Una raccomandazione che fanno loro e che noi ripetiamo, è di usare i loro DNS solo quando vi servono! Poi, quando inserite dati sensibili o importanti e navigate su siti personali come facebook, account di posta, ecc, ripristinate i vecchi DNS! E’ una questione di privacy nonché di velocità nella navigazione.

Di seguito riportiamo i passi da seguire presi dal sito ufficiale per i sistemi operativi principali:

MAC

1. Open System Preferences
2. Open Network
3. Choose your connected network (i.e. Wi-Fi or Ethernet) in the list on the left
4. Press the Advanced… button in the lower right
5. Select the DNS tab
6. Add the Tunlr DNS IP address using the + button in the lower left
7. The first Tunlr DNS IP address is 69.197.169.9
8. The second Tunlr DNS IP address is 192.95.16.109
9. Drag the Tunlr DNS IP addresses to the top of the list
10. Click the OK button
11. Click the Apply button
12. Restart your computer
13. Visit the Tunlr status check page to see if Tunlr is activated

Windows 7

1. Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
2. Right-click the connection that you want to change, and then click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click  Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
4. Click Use the following DNS server addresses, and then, in the preferred DNS server and alternate DNS server boxes, type the addresses of the primary and secondary DNS servers.
5. The primary (preferred) DNS server is 69.197.169.9
6. The secondary (alternate) DNS server is: 192.95.16.109
7. Click OK
8. Reboot your computer
9. Visit the Tunlr status check page to see if Tunlr is activated
